You hike in light. We bring the load.

Packing is all we do. You tell us what needs to go where, and our horses carry it there: from the trailhead to your camp, from your camp back to the truck, or anywhere in between.

We work with hunters, campers, hikers, climbers, trail crews and researchers. If it can be weighed, boxed and tied on a horse, we can pack it.

Services & Rates

Camp Drops

from $750

We haul your gear into camp ahead of time, or meet you at the trailhead and pack your load in. One trip in, one trip out.

  • Hunting camps, alpine base camps, long trips
  • Big loads, extra horses or rough country quoted case by case

Game & Meat Pack-Outs

from $600 per animal

Got your animal? We'll pack the meat out. Elk, moose, sheep and other legally taken, tagged big game.

  • Meat quartered, cooled and hung in clean game bags at your camp or somewhere we can reach on a trail
  • We pick up from camp or the trail; we don't go off-trail to the kill site or do the butchering
  • Have your tag numbers, WIN and paperwork ready when we load

Day Rate

$450 / day, horse + packer

A packer and horse for the day, for whatever you need moved. Good for trail crews, research crews and odd jobs.

How it works

Deposit

Half up front holds your dates.

Gear only

Our horses carry your gear. You make your own way in, and we meet you there with your load.

Packaging

Weigh it, pack it in tough duffels or bins, and have it ready at the trailhead.

Conditions

Weather, fire bans, trail conditions and the safety of the horses come first. If it isn't safe, we reschedule.
